She has explicitly copyrighted it. (I'm a FAQ maintainer on the same
group as Stan and the MIA maintainer). We're well aware of this, and
do not plan to modify the existing document without her permission.
She has explicitly given permission to post it as written, but we want
a living document that we can modify, update, MAINTAIN.

She did take it over from the original author, but at that time it was a
piddly little thing. She added enormous amounts of information. She
simply refuses to post said information, and is no longer an active
part of the group (hasn't been for years). It was originally agreed that
the various FAQs would be posted monthly. Like Stan said, it has
been posted only once in the past 2 years. We have been working
under the assumption that after 1 year, a FAQ maintainer could be
declared a "dead" maintainer, and she just missed the deadline last
week.

And this has already begun, several months ago. My question is how
do we go about getting our new FAQ to be the "official" one that can
get posted to *.answers and archived, etc, without defining a new archive
name and having them exist side-by-side in the archives, which could get
confusing.

Heidi
