I think I can safely speak for Kent on this: no interest. Even after
filtering out binaries, archiving Usenet is a huge project for a
well-funded outfit that can afford to buy and operate large server
farms and lots of bandwidth. The operation alone is not something to do
as a spare-time project.

Usenet archiving is in different class altogether from FAQ presentation.

No. At this point we are lucky that Google came along and took over
what AltaVista was ready to trash. If Google's founders hadn't come
along with the ideas that made Google popular and made its advertising
sales successful, we wouldn't have a Usenet archive at all.
