My first thought was agreement with this point, but then the whole idea is
that if they *did* have a clue, they wouldn't be so obviously noticeable as
newbies! You know, it's like saying "I've never seen a tourist who knew how
to blend in with the locals and not make themselves immediately
identifiable as a tourist." Well, of course you haven't, because you
thought they really were locals! :-)
