Indeed. I post a FAQ for someone else, under that person's name and
address. Now, I have a question of my own. I happen to be a de-facto
co-maintainer of that FAQ and now that there is a move and a change of
e-mail address of the 'official' maintainer on the horizon, we both
decided that it would perhaps be better if I register myself as a
maintainer, too - to be able to post the FAQ under my own name and
address, if need be. In the case like mine, the only thing that the
*.answers moderators would need to add to their database would be an
additional 'From:' header, since the same person would continue to post
the FAQ. Has there been a precedent for more than one person being
'officially' able to post the same FAQ to *.answers newsgroups? Is it
possible at all? If yes, how does one go about registering a second
name and address??

Now, I understand that there is a potential problem with multiple
registrations for the same FAQ - with co-maintainers ending up split,
with each claiming the FAQ as his/her own. If this indeed is seen as a
problem, how about registering only one maintainer as the 'primary' one
and the other(s) as 'secondary'? In my case, I'd be willing in advance
to assume a 'secondary' role. ;-)
