I reported him as a spammer. I have nothing on faqs.net, which appears
to be a site with a small number of FAQs by one person (and AFAIK
unconnected with faq-base.com). There's no indication that he plans to
update anything unless you send it to him -- no Usenet or RTFM
mirroring.
So he harvested email addresses from somewhere, lied about the source,
and plans to take whatever is given to him without making any
collection effort.
