Web Faq Archives .. mostly broken, posing servers and spam from sun00744.dn.net

Hi

I have been posting my approved FAQ monthly for 3 months now but have been dissappointed by the aparently broken FAQ archives that have not picked up the FAQ from the news.answers group as I would expect.

The faq is for the comp.unix.cray group and has the header Archive-name: computer/system/cray/faq
Whilst opinions vary as to the desirability of having older version of a FAQ scatterd across the web I am happy for it to be mechanically filed from the latest posting as it then has a better chance of being picked up by the increaingly commercially orentated search engines.

Looking in the following archives 12/02/2000 urls ..

Found URL comment
Yes http://www.cs.ruu.nl/cgi-bin/faqwais Latest version filled correctly.
Yes ftp://rtfm.mit.edu/pub/usenet-by-hierarchy/ Latest version filled twice correctly.
No http://www.faqs.org/faqs/ Directory is present but is empty
No http://www.cis.ohio-state.edu/hypertext/faq/usenet/FAQ-List.html
No http://www.lib.ox.ac.uk/internet/news/faq/by_group.index.html
Not responding http://www.ucsalf.ac.uk/cgibin/faqsearch

So the questions are
Do you know the contact emails for any of the above archives ?
Are there any other active FAQ archives I should check ?

Secondly I have the FAQ approval notice but did not seem to get the instructions for using any of the archive posing servers .. if some one could point me in the right direction I would be gratefull.

and finally a analysis of my spam that has arrived at the rate of 3..4 a week since Sat Nov 06 19:04:20 1999 using the FAQ posing addresses has *all* come via Digital Nation.net. The common header line ( no faked ) is

Received: from unknown (HELO sun00744.dn.net) (209.207.238.96)

forwarded from various fake origination addresses.
This is easy to make a rule for. Any email from sun00744.dn.net anywhere in the headers gets moved to spamcandidates mail box. Needless to say they are completely unresposive. Anyone do business with this mob and can apply pressure ?

Regards

Gannett
