Since Era brought it up in another thread, just a hint for those looking
for a free web host.
After some looking around, I found that all the 'free' ones were all
awkward w.r.t weird URLs, banners, popups and the like.
However, I did find http://altern.org.
This really is free. No banners, no popups, 10Mb limit, no bandwidth
limit, can provide counters, form return scripts etc.
And you will get an easy URL of the form http://altern.org/yoursitename
One minor problem is that you will need to understand just a snippet of
French to be able to register.
