I've also linked the web version of my alt.fan.harrison-ford FAQ to my
Amazon.com associate page. I'd like to point out that:
a) I make very little money from this.
b) All books and videos are listed in chronological order, regardless of
whether Amazon.com carries them or not.
c) I announced my affiliation to the newsgroup at the beginning and left it
at that. The Usenet version of the FAQ does not refer to Amazon.com at all.

There are no banners on my web site except for web rings and the GeoGuide.
GeoGuides can be annoying, but the pop-up ads are even worse IMO and at
least I have a tiny chance of winning something. :-)
