I'd accept the link, disclose it, and apply the profits to paying for
the ISP fees for the FAQ. If you maintain the FAQ from your own
Internet account, I'd suggest paying the charge from the profits.

If you feel bad about this, donate the fee to a Red Dwarf fan club or
the like, and mention you're doing so. Or donate it to any charity, of
you prefer.
