No, the FAQ-server still doesn't know how to interpret MIME files.
However, it's been switched to a different mail agent which no longer
adds MIME encoding to incoming files, so if a file isn't encoded when
it arrives (even if it has 8-bit characters or other oddities), it'll
be fine.

I've been treating this as a fairly low-priority problem, below, say,
working on the incoming queue or removing very old files from the
archive. If I hear that it's causing problems for a lot of folks,
I'll bump it up the work list a bit; otherwise, don't count on any
progress until there are at least one or two more moderators (i.e.,
two or three total).
