This is a great idea. I sent Bill some mail saying basically, 'go for it'. :)

Now a request. I would like to improve the faqs.org web site. I need
a few good bodies with a small bit of time and some great ideas that could
help with the web design and construction of the areas outside of the
actual hypertext archives. Here is generally what I have in mind...

- The area that needs the most improvements are at the top level of
www.faqs.org. The layout should be made more intelligent and
accessible by all.

- Need to look at how to deal more effectively and efficiently with the
index layout for the by-author and by-archive-name index files. At
present they are too flat.

- Try to derive some means of categorizing faqs by content. This would
allow us to use meta tags in the HTML files thus making it easier for
search engines to find the 'right stuff'. I'll put more about this
in a different message.

- General ideas for cleanup across the board

- Build a modification and submission path so that authors could maintain
their FAQs here during times of personal net.transitions (job changes,
etc.)

- Act as a review panel as to what needs to be done to keep improving
faqs.org.

I'm not sure if anyone is interested in helping but if you are please
drop me a line.
