| I've often thought that it would be REAL nice if there was a search
| option at the major search engines for FAQs. At Lycos you can search 13
| categories from the web to recipes; at Excite a shorter list, at
| AltaVista the Web or Usenet; at HotBot Usenet, people, etc., and at
| InfoSeek the Web, Usenet, companies, or news. At NONE can you search
| FAQs. I'd say it is not surprising that relatively few know about
| faqs.org -- it hasn't been marketed that well among the places most
| people use to search the net.
Yahoo has a section on faqs, has had it for years.
http://www.yahoo.com/Reference/FAQs/
It contains refs to Utrecht, Oxford, faqs.org etc,
and a lot of stuff that doesn't work.
| I'd be more than happy to contact the search engines about putting
| faqs.org in this list of places to search. Would others be interested
| too?
It would seem fair to mention other established
news.answers archives as well.
