If you plan to post it to news.answers, and format it in
minimal digest form (a trivial task), then faqs.org will do
a very nice job of splitting it into parts, creating an
index, and making links out of any embedded URLs. In fact,
I note that the rec.nude beach listings are already in this
form. See
http://www.faqs.org/faqs/nude-faq/
and compare with the corresponding files on rtfm.mit.edu. Or
compare
ftp://rtfm.mit.edu/pub/faqs/diabetes/faq/
with
http://www.faqs.org/faqs/diabetes/faq/
Note that this service is entirely automatic. Many of us use
it as the primary referral URL for our FAQs. All you have
to do is get approval from the news.answers moderators, use
minimal digest format, and post it.
