It's not L-Soft. It's Lyris. Two different companies. I took the
bull by the horns did research on the version of Lyris mentioned
in the email headers found that the proplem is part of a new
'feature' for this release. So I wrote to support@lyris.com about
the bug. Welllll, it's their contention is that it is not a
bug. "It's a feature." <grrr> Apparently Consensus just upgraded
to the latest version of Lyris and the default footer contains
this feature for making unsubscribing less problematic. I
couldn't make any headway with the support person by pointing out
that their software was changing text in the BODY of mailing list
posts.
