Legally you cannot prevent anyone from linking to your page. But if some
Compuserve forum had a link to your page, or if WIRED magazine published
your URL, would you be upset? If not, why should you be upset if a
commercial web site also has a link to your FAQ?

If they're reprinting your FAQ, that's one thing, but if they're just
providing a link to it, they haven't done anything wrong.

You're allowing yourself to become confused because they charge for access
to their web site. But that's their business. Unless they're claiming
that your FAQ is their exclusive property, or they're somehow preventing
people from getting access to it some other way, they haven't done anything
wrong.
