Re: any standard FAQ releases?

I was wondering......if a mailing list started to keep track of the ten
most frequently asked questions for lets say a month & then published
them with answers. Now lets also add that a member of that list had
compiled his own FAQ first but due to his preference has been removed.
Since FAQ's will most likely be the same could the alignment of these
two be an infringement of copyright? Especially if the group compiling
the second work had statistical facts to prove that these were the ten
most FAQ? Let's also add that author 1 pulled all the answers from the
archive section of the mailing list which is also the source of data for
the responses to the second work. Curious
