Jeff,

I'm a new FAQ maintainer (comp.databases.sybase) but my approach in
maintaining the FAQ was to do it in HTML and use tools (lynx) to
convert it back to text. This way I tend to not get bogged down with
renumbering and the like...

I guess I was seeing the trend being more HTML as the "standard" and
TEXT as the exception.

Also, I do make my FAQ's source (the HTML) available to all so folks
can setup their own local web site... just some thoughts...
