This is what I do, except that I have been using Mosaic to generate a
formatted text version and a PostScript version. For my next release
I will be trying Netscape. The text version goes to news.answers,
the HTML version to my and a couple of other WWW servers, and the
text, HTML and PostScript versions to my anonymous FTP server.

I guess this depends on what people see as being the primary
distribution channel, Usenet News or WWW. I decided the future would
be WWW. Also, my FAQ is not really a list of Qs asked on a newsgroup,
it is more a list of Qs that should be asked :-)
