Recommendations for passing of the torch

One of the co-maintainers of the comp.lang.tcl FAQs is stepping down
and we have a replacement. However, I am not sure of the best approach
for assisting the new fellow in taking over.

Anyone gone thru this and have a list of things of which one should be sure to
take care?
