Hmm.... Been there, done that. My FAQ states that...
" there is no such thing as an "official FAQ" in an unmoderated
newsgroup. Anybody is welcome to write one." Moreover, Sergei
Senin's page that mirrors my FAQ also lists the "alternative"
FAQ and the "even more alternative" FUQ:

... and it would be the honest and ethical who would be FAQ-bombed
into oblivion awaiting for the powers that be to remove their
blessing from the Evil Ones.

But of course I overreacted - mostly because I also got 200 K of
garbage in my mailbox. Iatskovski is a pest, but not reason enough
to demand that the news.answers folks lose their hard-won impartiality.
