Requiring to include anything that is the moderator teams' opinion
rather than that of the writer's would be a very slippery slope. Moreover,
it would only strengthen the misconception that - unless otherwise noted
- - somehow mere *.answers posts are anointed official things. They are
not, particularly are not and should not appear to be such derived from
the *.answers authority.
A lot better solution would be IMHO to put together and frequently post
a mini-FAQ on *.answers to explain the unofficiality to casual readers -
this should be a lot more down-to-earth and targeting general audience
rather than the guidelines postings which are aimed at the maintainers.
And there's also a technical problem with Steve's proposal: not all FAQs
are created as belonging to a newsgroup, therefore "postings approved for
that newsgroup" is an ill-defined term. And were I to create a periodical
article for alt.fan.dmitri-vulis, would I be required to include an SCR
disclaimer? Were he to start lying about the hungarian-faq, would I be
obligated referring to that too with a disclaimer?

I just can't see any good come of that ;-<... In any case, I'd much
rather not give them ground to flout and extra work for *.answers trying
to sort the mess out!
