auto-faq help....?

I posted this to the auto-faq list, but it didn't seem to work (returned
ccMail..?) so hopefully this isn't too off topic...

If anyone has info on the auto-faq list particulars, or hints to why my
FAQ doesn't want to post, I'd be forever grateful. I'll even send you a
*magic cookie* (your choice of flavour).

Particulars:

auto-faq: beta3.3 (have to use perl 5+)
uname -a: taygeta taygeta 4_52 UMIPS mips
auto-faq returns: <nothing>

During the final testing stages, my FAQs looked good in the faq.out, and
in a *.test group. However, the acid-test of auto-posting failed.

Here's the symptoms:
cron fails silently; my cron mail simply refers to my command, with no output
the "seqfile=/some/directory/in/my/home/faqname.seq" never appears

Both the auto-faq and faq-config files are in my $HOME, for simplicity.
I do not have write-permissions on the directory where the FAQ's are kept.

I've put auto-faq in a shell wrapper to see if it's actually being
executed, but I think it is, otherwise cron would complain, no?

Thanks.
