The "standard" news transports can't do that. The best you can do
is ignore them entirely, or shorten the retention of all Expires:
to a specific value.

Your system administrator may have simply changed expiration policy
coincidentally with your switchover to faq-server. Ask your system
administrator what the expiration policy is for that particular group.
