faq-server and Expires:

My FAQ (for rec.sport.fencing) is posted every 15 days, but the
Expires: header gets set a whole month ahead by faq-server. Why
is this? Is there any chance that some sites will ignore the Expires:
header altogether if it is too far in the future? At first glance this
appears to be happening; while the FAQ used to stick around
when I manually set Expires: to the next posting date, it vanishes
within a few days when I use faq-server. Of course, I can't be sure
that this isn't due to a coincidental policy change to ignore Expires:
at my news feed, but I'm still concerned. There has also been a
coincidental increase in noise and frequently asked questions to
the group since I started using faq-server (especially near the end
of a posting cycle), and I'm wondering if this could be due to similar
Expires: problems elsewhere on the net.
