The rec.games.roguelike.moria FAQ was something I composed because I had
already become an authority on Moria (I had fixed a lot of bugs, written
a few enhancements, and done playtesting). Therefore, I answered most
questions on the Moria group. I found myself answering FAQ's
repeatedly, and decided to write them down to reduce the work I needed
to do, and to post the FAQ to reduce the number of times I had to
correct someone else's wrong answer to an FAQ. Since then, I took over
maintenance of the game itself, which made it even more necessary that I
maintain the FAQ, as I frequently got questions from users.
