I maintain the rec.food.chocolate FAQ, and there are an increasing number
of chocolatiers with web sites, who would like to use the FAQ as a bit of
advertising for their products. What I plan to do is split my FAQ into
two parts, the first part being straight facts about chocolate, and the
second being a review of the WWW sites around the net, with what ever
little advertising sites might want to include.

I don't know if such a split would work for you, keeping reviews of any
products that come to you in a separate FAQ. But for me, it keeps what I
feel is my work from looking like a paid advertisement, while also
providing useful information to my readers.
