Lots of good points, Lani. I would like to come up with some kind of
fairly automated solution because it is starting to get out of hand
and will probably get worse as soon as a book with some of my stuff
in it comes out (unless my stuff gets cut from the book...).

The ii.com domain is mine so stability is not an issue. I can use
procmail to do just about anything so it's just a matter of coming up
with a solution that makes sense. People will know (I hope) what
address to use because of what's in the From and Reply-To header of
something I post. Here's a revised list of what I'm thinking of
doing:

Reply-To and From Header
Address
@ii.com Full Name When Posting... Auto-Reply Message
======= ========= =============== ==================
help Infinite Ink Help Internet Help pointers to FAQs, newsgroups, etc.
faqs Infinite Ink FAQs FAQs Thanks for input + help auto-reply
nancym Nancy McGough anything else <no auto-reply>

Also, I need to decide what to list in the book as my email address.
I want to list something that will produce an auto-reply message and
in that auto-reply message put information about Infinite Ink and the help
auto-reply message, which will say how to contact me for real. For this
I'm thinking about using info@ii.com.

I'd really appreciate people's feedback on this. I need to make a
decision soon for the book.

Thanks much,
Nancy
