I know what you mean. The first complimentary CD-ROM I received (in my
capacity as FAQ maintainer) was another collection of Usenet FAQs, this
one formatted for Macintoshes. As it happens, I don't have a Mac at
home. I do have one at work, but it has no CD-ROM drive.

Fortunately, one of my coworkers can use it, so I gave it to him.
