Yes, I did. At least last year. When my FAQ wasn't even on the CD-ROM yet.
I just wrote to them that they could have it for a future version, and
they were so kind to send me a complimentary copy. No complains at all.

Not me, though I haven't asked for a new copy yet. Maybe I should.
> 3. What's the best E-mail address to complain to them?
Lemmesee. I exchanged emails with Jun Akiyama <akiy@cdrom.com>.
By the way, I kind of got another free CD-ROM from them. I bought one on
the CeBIT computer fair in '94. It was totally scratched and therefore
unusable. I wrote to Walnut Creek (though not to Jun Akiyama) about this,
and got a replacement CD for free. Without any kind of proof-of-purchase
of the other one.
Another By-The-Way: Walnut Creek do send their CDs from Denmark as well.
So they don't have to pay trans-Atlantic postage for each single CD,
and it's a bit faster as well.

I posted it to faq-maintainers myself just to show that Walnut Creek is
not really an 'evil company' at all. At least not from my point of view.
Bye,
Uli
