Stripped auxilliary headers

Folks,
As a FAQ maintainer newbie (sci.med.aids FAQ), I have a question. I
posted the sci.med.aids FAQ with a duly added auxilliary header
(archive-name, etc.). Somehow, in the transition from my computer to the
net, these heaers got stripped off. ny ideas on why this happened, and
suggestions for making sure it doesn't happen again?
