How to Cross Post a FAQ Announcement

I post the comp.object's announcement, which is part of the periodical posting,
to about 15 relevant newsgroups. Right now, I'm posting the announcement (and
FAQ) to the answers and comp.object newsgroup, followed by an unrelated post
of the announcement to the other 15 groups. I'd like for the announcement to
make it into these other groups directories on rtfm, so what should I do?

P.S. Why does it take several days for a force? While overnight might be a
good precaution, I don't understand the delay.
