In this particular case, I don't think you should use the editor's
description of his magazine. You have not given the competing magazines
the chance to influence your descriptions of *them*, and you don't want to
establish a precedent by allowing this one to. It sounds to me like your
FAQ contains the opinions of readers of a.s.b-f, and you ought to keep it
that way.

You might be able to defuse the situation by sending the editor a copy of
the current FAQ, with the explanation that the description was revised
some time ago. It would also be a good idea to emphasize that the FAQ is
a community effort and not your sole opinion.
