Well, that's what this list is for isn't it? ;-)
Basically, the thing that's most needed (IMHO) is a uniform guideline on
mirroring rtfm.mit.edu and/or distributing it in other forms.
Any faq maintainer can maintain their own copyright etc. but it might
be a good idea to extend the guidelines for posting to news.answers
(to which we all stick already) to include a part about redistribution
(isn't there something in there already?) just like e.g. SimTel does
in their uploadpolicy ('you agree to let your file be made available
on cd-rom's of the archive... etc.').
Maybe the rtfm admins can ask Keith Petersen what SimTel's policy
looks like.
BTW I use /fack/ on Usenet and F-A-Q in real life when people don't
understand /fack/.
