You can use MacMosaic locally without being connected to the internet -- I
have a dialup slip connection and often test my documents that way. Since
all of my links to my own documents use partial references, they work the
same on the server as they do with the parallel copy on my local drive.
Only external links have to be tested while connected to the internet.

Also, you don't need to have an http server to offer HTML documents, you
can make them available via ftp and Mosaic users will not see the
difference--see my front page (url in my .sig.)
