Not at all. I have asserted my rights to the alt.drugs.caffeine faq
from day one. And _nobody_ should think of it as being in the public
domain.
It is clearly copyrighted, and it indicates so.

Morally speaking, you have copyright claims to your faq because of all
the time you have spent compiling and cleaning the information.
