Does your numbering scheme include 'those that have news.answers as their
only appropriate *.answers newsgroup'? I maintain one, er, two of these:
news-newusers-intro and the rn KILL file FAQ. (Which, btw, will undergo
major revisions when I get around to having time to do it.)
Leanne is right -- the numbers I posted were a bit exaggerated,
because of postings of the type she mentions (David Lawrence pointed
out the same thing in private E-mail).
I did a bit better job of generating numbers, and I found that the
number of news.answers postings which are missing one or more
*.answers newsgroups that should appear in their Newsgroups lines is
around 65 (which, although it's significantly less than 115, is still
a significant number of FAQs). The authors of those postings have
been contacted about adding the appropriate *.answers newsgroups to
their postings.
