Does your numbering scheme include 'those that have news.answers as their
only appropriate *.answers newsgroup'? I maintain one, er, two of these:
news-newusers-intro and the rn KILL file FAQ. (Which, btw, will undergo
major revisions when I get around to having time to do it.)

I wouldn't want you to, excluding my own posts. That restricts the
information we in news.answers and *.answers make available, which defeats
the purpose. It can be strongly suggested that other newsgroups would be
appropriate, but I don't think you should go any farther than that.

(I say it defeats the purpose because I myself would simply shrug and not
post such a post to news.answers, if I were stubborn enough to not want
to post to the appropriate *.answers group in the first place. And that
means, of course, that we're not getting all periodic postings into
news.answers, which means we're not following our purpose, etc etc.)
