If you are trying to decide what format to put your FAQ in, read "FAQs: A Suggested Minimal Digest Format" written by Chris Lewis <clewis@ferret.ocunix.on.ca>. One of the benefits of using it is that FAQ archives that convert FAQs into hyperlinked documents understand it and can do more with it.
