We have had two separate Siamese cats contract FIP. Both from same breeder. Put first one down, received second cat, now 1-1/2 year old female, found out today from test/xray positive FIP. Notice a common symptom is a swollen belly.
SHE is in the first stage which shows fluid in rib area. Has anyone found any experimental drugs or ways to help the cat grow through it?
So far eating good and active.
PLEASE help.

Hi there, this is one year late - I don't have an answer and I hope you had one at the time.  I have a Siamese that had FIP and has just been put down.  I was wondering where your breeder is located, so that I can rule out that source if I get another.  Mine is in Western Australia...
Hope you pick this up and that your second cat has managed to live on well.
