Buy some piercing needles, you can get these on Ebay or at Superiortattoo.com... then, while your nipple is hard, pierce the middle of it... you might want to get a 14 gauge size needle or even a 16 gauge if you think the 14 is too big. Good luck, and happy piercing.

I just got it done by a random friend, and I would not suggest sewing needles. It actually turned out normal but its pretty painful. Get it done by a pro.

i have a hollow tipped needle to pierce my nipple but i don't think it is going to hurt. i am going to do it tonight, but how do i keep it clean???

Hey i pierced my nipples today at achool at lunch time and i stole a whole lot of gear off mum who's a nurse. First i numbed my nipple with ice. Then i used antiseptic wipes to clean teh bugs the i wiped on an injection swab. I used an injection first because they are sterile and i put it trough my nipple. This created a guide hole and then i went through the same hole with a bigger needle that i had heated red hot to kill bugs and wiped with antiseptic wipe. It made the hole a little wider. Then I used a bigger needle again that i sterialised in the sam,e way as the last. this opened the hole even more. Then i slided the bar in and screwed the end on. Then i put 'Studex' on it and put a sterile bandage over it. Now my nipple is piereced and it's awesome. It hurted a hell of a lot when i was doing it but now it doesn't hurt at all it just feels good. Make sure you have lots of tissuse because there is a lot of bleeding.

I have recently pierced my nipple with a .9mm hollow tipped needle.  All i used to keep it clean was some hydrogen peroxide.  Same thing used to keep ear piercings clean.

to keep it clean make sure before you do it you sterilize the needle and after you do it make sure you put like ear care solution on it like once a day for a couple weeks

I am a professional tat and piercing artist. Doing this yourself is NOT a smart idea, it can cause infections if not done properly, nerves can be hit, and more serious problems may occur. Please get it done by a professional or don’t do it at all. It is very important to know what you are doing while piercing any part of the body.

i pierced my nipples a long time ago and used a needle it really hurt. it was sore for a week. pretty much after u pierce it with a needle put a band aid over it for like 2 or 3 days and make sure u spin it like 3 or 4 times a day. it u take it out the next day i don't know it it will be diffrent for  but u wont be able to put something back through i learned the hard way

I'm going to pierce my nipple too, I'm not completely sure how I'm going to do it. Last time I tried it didn't quite work, but this time I'm going to freeze it with ice, then push a large safety pin through it. I hope this eyebrow barbell will work with it.

Piercing  your own nipples can be very dangerous.  I wouldn't do it yourself. You would keep it clean with hydrogen peroxide twice a day.  If your are still a teen, literally all the way up to 19, you probably want to be careful about piercing your nipples because in some cases the body is still maturing and this can lead to problems with your piercing.

wash it 2 times a day with dial liquid anti bacterial soap spinning the ring back and forth,(you dont have to do this for the first couple days. and soak with sea salt or table salt a pinch of it in a 8oz cup of water will do dont let it get inside of the pericing though
for 2 weeks then it should be fine just make sure to spin the ring back and forth to egt the crustys off

Use Ice that takes away the pain and makes ur nipple hard at the same at time, Then just take a stud (boil and soak it in rubbing achol first and stab it threw the center of ur nipple) after that wait about a months and a half, buy one of the smaller barbells and put in in when ur in the shower

Keeping it clean is simple. Wash it often, do not play with it much at first, apply antiseptic cream every few hours, and, if possible, keep it covered with sterile wrap.

Yo! I just pushed a needele straight through my nipple when i was drunk-- don't hurt one bit! I never even steralised it but i don't suggest that! might want to use anticeptic, and make sure its erect first lol! do it --tis great!!! luv me xx

Either take a lighter to it and just put it over the flame for a few seconds or boil it in water.  Either way will remove all of the germs.  I had my friend pierce both my nipples and I used the boiling method and it worked great.

cleaning:
what you do is your put rubbing alchohol on it twice a day.. in the morning and at night. DO NOT USE PROXIDE! it will make them scab. but anyways, make sure you move the ring around in it everytime you clean it. or else your skin will actually grow onto the peircing and your screwed. it will be sore at first.. but its worth it in the end.
peircing:
first make sure you clean both the nipple, the needle, and the ring before you start. use soap and HOT WATER first, then disinfect them all again with RUBBING ALCHOHOL. then, whenyour nipples hard, peirce it right where the point meets the flat of the skin. make sure you go from the OUTSIDE to the INSIDE.

dont make your nipples hard if their hard its hard to make them straight, you dont want to do it yourself if you cant take pain very well, to keep them clean use sea salt and warm water, your body wants to balance the pH in your body to the water which will open it up and clean it out, if you use alcohol youll just end up killing the new skin and it wont heal, expect blood expect alot of blood,if your doing it yourself use a 16g just cause it will be easier wait till it heals then stretch it, just take a hollow point needle and pull your nipple out put the needle through the base of the nipple itself not the ariola, if theirs alot of blood your should leave the needle in for 7-10 hours until the swelling goes down then switch to the rings, ive heard alot of people say ice helps before and after but all that does is create complications, warm water helps ice makes your nipples hard and makes them hurt

i did mine with a sewing needle, i put ice on it 4 a while, then cleaned, and pushed it through  it didn't hurt 2 bad but is slighty difficult 2 get a ring or bar in after

Well last night i used a regular sewing needle... I ended up not being able to fit the loop through ... I am gonna try one more time tongiht ... thw worst part is the skin ... It is tough to push through ... An I am very sensitive ... I did however pierce me belly button last night an it looks great !!! Good luck And if u have any suggestions about my nipple piercing please let me know

i don't know if it'll help at all, but i am only 15 years old, and when i was 13 I first peirced my labret... it did hurt, but I used a plastic canvas needle... I know you will be told to use sharper needles, but in my opinion it hurts more when you have to gauge it. So anyway my lip ring went right in, and there really was no problem, and I have had it for a while now. But if you read the healing charts, most are not right... I took great cared of my lip ring with RUBBING ALCOHOL, gargeled SALTWATER and also every night I used PEROXIDE, and for me in my perse I carried HAND SANITIZER for all weird fumes and germs outside and stuff.... and just recently I peirced my nose it healed in like 3 days, but I only used HAND SANITIZER for that, which contained rubbing alcohol. It does sting, but not nearly how bad it will be if it gets infected. My mom got her nipples done perfessionally, and it hurt her alot when she got up from bed, and it stretched out, because she moves around alot, and the ring was being pulled in bed alot, so I would recommend buying a nipple shield, which you can buy at any peircing studio, or anywhere online, or just simply tape your nipple overnight... That's all I can say:) and good luck!!!! (it's really not as bad it people make it seem!) Hope I helped you at all

Ok, pierceing your nipples isnt the easiest thing, it can be very painful, bloody and dangerous, but my comments will not change your feelings on wheather your going to do it or not. but I suggest taking a cut of salty water and soaking each nipple in it for 5mins or so this will assure that they are clean! but make sure to rinse them after.... if your going to pierce someone elses nipple i suggest you first tell them to take off all clothing that would interfear with the piercing(shirt, bras, etc.) then tell then to stand straight leaning against a wall with their hands stright down to the side(this insures that the piercing will come out straight) thoroughly clean the nipple, then mark 1 dot on each side of the nipple as to wear the hallow tip needle will enter and leave. finally take a CLEAN hallow tip needele, put some vaseline on it so that it will be able to go through the nipple with some lubrication, then pierce! finally u put in the body jewelry and tada! your done and he or she will love their new piercing! dont forget to always wear gloves!

to keep it clean, get some small cups..some sea salt put a pinch of it in a cup, and sum warm water and cup it over your nipple and hold it there for 10-15 min.. and if u can, saline solution to wash it with would help

I pierced mine last night with a stick pin, using ice to numb them.  It hurt like hell, but it only took about an hour to do.  My only question is, once you get them pierced, how the hell do you get the earrings in them after it's been pierced?

i pierced my nipple a few weeks ago but i took it out because it hurt like crazy! DON'T USE A SAFETY PIN!! if i were y'all I'd get it done but a pro!! but if you do get it done by yourself i suggest you clean whatever your using!

I've tried both nipples, but i havent been able to get my ring threw the hole after the needle has came out, i pierced both my ears and had no problems, i bought some cheap stainless steel bars off ebay and am going to try once more, i dont mind the pain cause it isnt that bad its just the pushing of the needle threw that gets me.

all by myself
it dont hurt

all you do is clean it with alcohol

1.get a ice cube and numb your nipple

2.just think about where your gonna put the ring ( look in a mirror and see if its staight)

3.then pierce it VERY VERY VERY SLOWLY( if you do this it will not hurt AT ALL0

4.DONT FORGET TO CLEAN YOUR NIPPLE WITH ALCOHOL AND DONT FORGET TO CLEAN THE RING.

5. clean the area with the piercing

6.you might wana stick a band aid on it :p

all of you are wrong. have your friend do it, make them wash their hands and your nipple(s), use hollow hypidermic needles that you can find at fleet farm for cheep. you might want to but a clamp, but if not have another friend hold your nipples (after they wash their hands). you're going to want to lay on the floor, because if you pass out you dont want to hit the floor. it hurts a lot, so if you cant take the pain of stapleing your arm or chest, dont do it

I just got my nipples pierced at The Edge in Hopwood, PA. I would never pierce my own nipples and if you do your an idiot but to keep them clean all you have to do is use a bactine cream or oinment on them after you wash them off with luke warm water. Make sure that before you clean them that your hands are washed b/c if you don't you are just asking to get an infection. If you are a girl i suggest that u keep bandaids on them and avoid wearing a bra b/c it is really painful but if you do then wear a sports bra. It's honestly not that painful when you get em done though. I think it was worth it. Im out good luck with that.

to nic pull nipple by end out awayfrom chest your goona wanna go about an inch in tawards your chest then pierce but leave needle in for 30 min and make it quick put ur jewlery in........

I have pierced my nipples 4 times ! no not all at one time yes it hurts like hell my right is  worse than my left for some reason but  i had to let them close for diff reasons but  i am going to do them again  soon i ordered my  needles so   and i got some sweet rings for them so  this will be fun( no not realy) it hurts like hell but it looks so good!

it'll hurt trust me...i just pierced my own nipple literally 2 minutes ago....to clean it put the needle and the ring in peroxide mixed with cold water...the mix should be about 50/50, you can pick up peroxide from any drug store

alright people, you do not pierce it straight through the nipple. you want the piercing far enough in so it doesnt rip out easily, and also if the piercing is too close to the end of the nipple it can dry out into a scab allowing the ring to pull out. use a 14 gauge hollow tip needle, 12 gauge are recomended as well. you do not want a 16gauge like this other guy said, a smaller gauge allows the piercing to be rejected much easier....have fun

well, I just pierced my nipples about an hour ago with a needle my friend gave me, about a 16 gauge and i put CBRs in them.  I cleaned the needle with rubbing alcohol  along with the CBRs too.  whatever u do, dont stop in the middle of it, it hurts more.  and DONT numb it with ice because it makes it harder to push threw.  and insted of CBRs use a bar because there easier to get threw.  Happy piercing!!

Im 16 and I have 5 hole in 1 ear and 4 in the other and my nose. I have done all my peircings myself and none of them really hurt, and i just decided that i really want my right nipple peirced, bu i just wanna make sure that i cant damage n e thing, so if you have any advice please tell me!

like where on the nipple is it ok to pierce it?? i just did it myself & it wasn't painful at all cause i made it SUPER numb before i did it.. but i think the piercing was a bit too far to the tip. is that okay??

yea i tried to pierce my nipple about 2 nights ago but it really hurt but only because i was taking to long. my advice is if you want a piercing but your like me and your parents say no but you want it anyway, just do it! make shure you steralize EVERYTHING first though and when you do pierce somthing, just do it and dont stall. stalling makes it hurt even more!!

It is a foolish idea to pierce your own nipples. As well as being highly painful, there is a high risk of infection and permanant damage to the breast tissue.
It is important to get it done professionally, and then to keep it clean using a salt water solution. Do not twist or turn the nipple jewellery during the healing process, and wear cotton clothing to keep the piercing intact at night.

i pierced my own nipples with a hollow needle my friend gave me, and i put safety pins through them until i get regular rings....i mean it doesn't hurt i pierced then with my mom in the other room they will probably hurt afterwords and when your nipples get hard other wise they are the greatest piercing in the world....

Its simple, use ice to harden the nipple and then try and aim for the center of the side of the nipple and push, i have done this to my friend...

Procedure:
*Mark the entry and exit points
*Clean with antiseptic
*Anesthetize it (numb it) and clamp tightly
*Push the Cannula through it (the needle or whatever your using, cannula is a hollow needle)
*Draw the ring back through via the cannula

Complications:
*Infection - in women an infection can quickly travel through milk ducts into lymph nodes under the arm
*scarring
*cyst growing inside the nipple
*problems with healing if the jewelery is too small

Avoiding Infection:
*Keep piercing dry as possible
*wash hands before handling piercing
*Do not use fingernails to remove jewelery
*Do not share jewelery
*Do not touch or turn jewelery unnecessarily during healing process
*Do not remove scab - this protects nipple form infection
*Use antibacterial soap when showering
*Use tissue or cotton bud to dry, not a towel
*D not use alcohol based cleaners, tea tree oil, hydrogen peroxide, skin cleansers, antiseptic scream, these cause your nipple to dry out and prolong the healing process
*Cover with a band aid or a sticky plaster and always wear a bra when exercising and sleeping to keep the jewelery together and in tact
*Do not remove jewelery before fully healed

USUALLY TAKES 6 - 10 WEEKS TO FULLY HEAL

Buy a pair of piercing clamps, roughly $7 US and erect the nipple, mark out the points where you would like the bar to pass through, usually at the base of the nipple. Place the holes on the clamp central to the markings, use a 14gauge needle if you are using a 16g bar, and stab away

you can use hydrogen peroxide or even rubbing alcohaul, rubbing alcohaul burns a bit but it gets the job done, you can also go to any tatoo and peircing shop and buy special cleaning products but why spend 10 bucks for than when you can spend 75cents on hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohaul? pour this onto the peircing and move your peircing from side to side, up and down, any way prossible to move it.this cleans the ring and your skin even on the inside of your peircing...

i did mine myself with the earring that they pierce your ears with because its sharp on the end, i turn it every once in a while and i put the earcare stuff that they give you on it, you could use peroxide though. i didnt think it hurt you just have to keep it clean and turn it once and a while

yeah i think just keep it clean like you would any other piercing im going to pierce my nipple to my mom wont let me get it done so i am going to do it myself ive been reading up on it for the past week now and i think ive got a really good idea of how to do it and i've talked to some people that have done it them selfs so i think its going to be okay i am going to wait till i have some more money soo this weekend and get the proper ring for it and alot of rubbing alcohol .. ill let you all know how it goes after its done .. thats if i dont chicken out or any thing (but im sure i wont )

i just pierced mine last night with a sewing needle i wouldnt recomend it  it took me like 2 hours 2 get it through and i almost past out with pain even with a frozen nipple :P

i think im gonna take it out and get it done properly :P

I got my nipples pierced by a pro.  They did both at the same time with 12 gauge hollow needles.  It hurt A LOT.  I suggest using this stuff called Bactine to clean them.  It also numbs the piercing a little bit and it feels better.

hey sweetie to clean any piercing:

mix salt with boiled water,
wait till the water cools but not too much,
use a cotton swab to clean around the piercing and carefully remove any crusty bits and dry blood!,
do this 2-3 times daily untill the piercing is fully healed.

just wondering about piercing my own nipple. is it a stupid idea. how bad does it hurt. are there precautions i should take.. blah blah blah.. should i get my friend to do it for me. or should i do it myself. the only reason im doing it is because im not yet old enough for it to be professionally done.

I pierced my own belly button and nose and ears Im going for the nipples. id suggest to use a bigger needle than a sewing needle cause all you do is prick your finger. clean it with peroxide and boil it. very good thing to do. works for me ive never got any infections never!!!

Hey, yah, I sell body jewelry. You can get needles from a number of places, don't ask local tattoo/piercing parlors... they wont sell them to you. lol. I say internet is your best place to get them. NEVER peirce any part of your body with a sewing needle, safety pin, etc. Even if you soak it in alcohol, its still not healthy. You need a completely new sterilized hypoallergenic hollow piercing needle for everything to go smoothly. Ironically, I just pierced my mothers nipple about 15 minutes ago. She attempted to do it herself, but I had to save her, lol. Make sure the nipple is hard, don't do it too far down when the nipple becomes aureole, do it right in the middle of the nipple. Have fun!!

ehmm.. I was asked to do this on a girl and I am wondering if this is right: first cool down the nipple with ice for 10-15 min.. then put in a sawing needle and let it be there for 2-3 min, then replace it with the piercing?

freakin i got a stud gun and just had a earing threw it .. it didnt hurt at all .. and the earing in ther is still alright .. i can change it in about 2 weeks 4 a proper bar

When you clean it the best time is either in or right after a warm shower, however don't let the water directly hit the piercing have your hands redirect it, rinse it then lather your hands in anti-bacterial soap and then lather the piercing and rotate the ring a few times then carefully rinse. you should do it at least twice a day. also afterwords using either a homemade or a store bought "sea salt" works well. i used a thing called "H2ocean"

If you want to clean any piercing, use alcohol swabs. You don't want a piercing like that to get infected.

take your thumb and stick it in your butt, if your thumb smells bad after then wash it with some soap suds, then eat a steak, get some bowling pins, jump in the bathtub and lather yourself with 3 lbs of cream cheese

I waited til my nipple got hard took a deep breath n then jus shoved it thruu. I didn't even feel a thing until the next day then it all came to me. I was afraid of an infection so I filled a small bowl with absolut vodka then jus let them freeeeee. They're wonderful now and the boys love to suk off the vodka ;)

FYI- It WILL hurt, but it is worth it in the long run. Make sure everything is well sanitized by boiling your piercing needle and jewelry, you also need to use alcohol pad to clean area you are piercing. You will be surprised at how tough your nipple really is to get through. It seems that while piercing your own nipple your muscles turn to jello (I think it is do to the fact you are inflicting pain on yourself,lol). I pierced my own nipples and so far all is going smoothly. It would have been a lot easier to get it done at a shop though. Good luck :))

I pierced my own nipple in 9th grade. it was really a bet that i didn't have the balls to do it. and well i did. and I'm not gonna lie to you. it hurts like hell. i had a lot of pain. and the needle was hard to hold onto. but you need to pierce it when the nipple is hard (when your tweaking). you can make it hard with ice. but i strongly recommend taken like two Tylenol about a half hour before trying it. then put a cork or a piece of rubber on one side of the nipple and take your needle,( i used a 16g hollow needle i took from the docs office and some surgilube) and push it through. it helps a lot to use the right needle and some surgilube, with a twisting motion. You can try to numb the nipple with ice but the pain comes after words in a throbbing effect. and make sure it all stays clean and you don't wear tight restricting cloths that push on it. and don't play with the jewelery until it is held.

The best way to pierce your own if ( if your underage) is to get an adult friend to order a kit to his own house and then pay him for it, then to research it and get a friend to do it for you. Nothing lower than 14g though because tugging can get annoying
