i bought my dog in may of 2003 and i haven't sent the papers...

i bought my dog in may of 2003 and i haven't sent the papers in yet she is now coming in heat is it to late to send the paper in for her and to get papers for when she has puppies?

No. We sent for our dogs papers after she had pups. You have to have hers and the males papers then you can register the pups. You do want to send it in early so you don't run into trouble with papers coming too late. We had to send the papers to our first puppy buyer 'cause we didn't get them on time!

You can send the papers in anytime. If it is AKC the longer you wait the more you pay. Once you get the papers back you can send the papers in to register the puppies.

I bought my dog from a family member about 5  months ago and he was about 6 months old when i got him,he has never had papers.How do i go about getting papers on him?
