I think the range is from about $250-$500 dollars. If your dog is that good I'd try to get at least $400 out of him. Good luck! Tanisha

If you dog is CH sired, you could charge $350-$400.  If he was a CH himself, you could charge $500-$750.  If he's won a Best In Show, then you could charge up to $1000.  If his pedigree has CH's back in the third generation or further, you own a pet yorkie and you should charge $200-$250.

These are the going rates for stud fees.  Your best bet is to ask for Pick-of-the-Litter.  This way you can resell the pup for some extra money.

we recently adopted a wonderful little boy yorkie with no intent to stud him out, however the kennel we purchased him from said it would be a mistake as he will be under 3.5lbs. his recommended fee was told to be $1,ooo.oo due to his size. that may help to determine how much you should charge.good luck from one yorkie lover to another.ps we have to little girls,4lbs and 5 lbs. but they are fixed. we never planned to get this many-hahah.

I think you should charge what you feel is right. The going rate of these dogs is atlease $500.00

I think the stud fee should fall between $500.00-$1000.00.

the smaller size of dog you have the more money you should charge because the puppies therefor go for more money. spend a little make alot.

pic of the litter is still your best option.

I have today acquired a King Charles Spaniel, as his owner is dying and needs a good home for his doggie.  Charlie is now in my home.  His mother sold for $3,200.00.  It is quite obvious that he is ready to breed.  I know nothing about this.  Please help!  What should I charge for stud service?  He is obviously from a superior blood line.  Help!

I have a 4.5 lb adorable male Yorkie. He is CKC registered and is just a pet ( so only does normal tricks.) He was born 2-25-06 I am looking to stud him out for $350 (very flexible) or a puppy. If interested email cstarne1@utk.edu. I will send you any pictures or information you need. Thanks.

Hi, we have been looking for a Malamute Stud forever thats located in our area. We have lots of experience with puppies, but never have we paid for a stud. We finally found one person thats interested and they asked us how much we would be willing to pay. I didn't know what to answer. So, if there puppies are going for about $600, what is a normal price for a stud service?
