well.. u can always just draw the tattoo yourself, if that's what you want, and just give the drawing to the artist, and they'll take care of the stenciling

If you've found a design you really like... you can get 'onion paper' found in most stationary stores and it's a light almost see through paper that allows you to 'trace' your design.  Trace your design with a BLACK ink pen. Once done that... tattoo artist will disenfect your back (maybe shave the area if needed) and rub your back with clear stick deodarant (helps lift the design off your trace)... you'd put the traced design straight on the area you want it tattoed and lightly press onto your body.. when you lift the stencil off your back the design is there ready for tattooing.

If you want to make a copy of any tattoo flash. first vist your local tattoo supply house, for some thermal paper.  once in hand turn the thermal paper to the white side. (be sure to take out the brown lose peice of trace paper from the middle. cuy out your design and tape it to the white part. Trace out the drawing. Once finished turn it over flip up the first page and there you have it a copy of what you want. The tattooist will then place speed stick on your skin and place the thermal
sheet where you want the tattoo

(keepin mind that there will be 4 to 5 sheets within the one thermal paper you buy)
