it is blue. because it is blue is because it is 74%hydrogen, 25%helium and 1%methane. it has a big dark spot which astronauts believe is a giant storm cloud. Neptune's winds blow over 100 miles per hour! it was the last stop the voyager2 landed on. it is very unfriendly to humans since there is no oxygen. it isn't a solid planet,it has clouds on the very top and land just like earth. this planet is greenish-blue and is the fourth largest gas planet.
