My 7 year ago Chow Chow has been trying everything to get out from our fenced backyard. Is there any reasons for his behavior?

Dog's will naturally try to get out of their confinements cause they weren't meant to be penned up(though these days it is necessary). If you have a 5-6' high fence you can put a wire around the top so he feels unsure about climbing over. If he's getting through the fence you can put chicken wire around the outside. If he's digging under put bricks in the hole, cover it with dirt and try to keep him away from it. in a few days the mud hardens and even dogs can hardly dig through it. Also it is recommend to put random objects(charcoal, twigs, leaves, etc)in the hole and this makes them unsure of what they may find and discourages them. Good luck!! Tanisha
