I have a female Keeshond, she is about 2 years old.

She has a dry redish scaly type exzema or dermatitis on her underbelly.  I have rubbed a natural moisturiser into it before and it tends to relieve it or clear it up, but in the hotter months, especially when it is dry and dusty I find it is very hard to control.  I have in the past bathed her in oatmeal shampoo and conditioner, and that also seems to help a great deal, but I hate to bath her so much as I am worried it is ruining her coat.  I have also been reccomended a cortisone cream, in which I have used on her and that tends to help a great deal too.  I have taken her to the vet about it a few times, but they have told me there is not allot we can do to correct it.  I was hoping that someone out there may be able to suggest something to me as I am becoming really concerned about it.

I await your reply/s
