how do Jews think you qualify for the afterlife?

they don't believe in afterlife they think life never ends, it gets higher and higher.

Jewish people don't believe that the true messiah has come yet . So they live by what was taught in the Old Testament . By living by these rules and commandments , they feel they are and will be ready . As for us christians they feel that we are falling short , but on the same note , I dont feel they will judge us , When we all get to Heaven we will be judged according to our works on earth by Christ who sits at the right hand of God .
