My question is about Winrunner.
QUESTION:Is it possible to record the commands that we type in DOS-prompt?

I know that you can attain it using TSL. But I dont know whether you can record it.

Yes u can record dos command in winruner. since its alowing u to record so u can record in dox command

Test can be executed in dos as analog mode.but re execution of a particular command is not possible.

7000 and 10000Rs for winrunner and load runner are terribly in excess by any standards. We get the same for 60 Rs in the market.

in the middle of tsl we give reload and at end of script we use guI_close.in that script at the end is memory of guI WILL CLOSE FROM RAM OR NOT?

Hi,

   yeah...our friends told good solutions for
   that you can record that in Analog mode
   but while running the script don't change
   the position of the windows why because
   analog recording is based on screen co-
   ordinates na...then it will not work.

I use Winrunner to record and replay. How do I control the speed at which these keystrokes are replayed. Due to variable time in webpage load, I get erratic errors when the step doesnot adjust to my connection speed

You can able to record the comments in dos through selective recording mode in winrunner.

selective recording is nothing but it can record the particular selected application.
