My problem comes from bibliography - I'd like to group references in the text ([1-6] and not [1,2,3,4,5,6]. That's why I use the package \cite. But when I compile the file to make a pdf file, it returns [1,2,3,4,5,6]....I've also tried rangecite and mcite without any success.
The following lines are the first lines of my program... what can I do ???

                Thank you for your answer(s)

\documentclass{elsart}
\usepackage{graphicx}
\usepackage[french,english]{babel}
\usepackage{amsmath}
\usepackage{amssymb}
\usepackage{float}
\usepackage{subfigure}
\usepackage{epic}
\usepackage{cite}
\usepackage[small,center,bf,it]{caption}
\usepackage{natbib}
\usepackage[pdftex,colorlinks=true,linkcolor=black,citecolor=black,urlcolor=blue,pdfstartview=FitH]{hyperref
}
\DeclareGraphicsExtensions{.pdf,.pdftex_t,.png,.jpg}
\pdfcompresslevel=9 \hypersetup{
  pdftitle={Experimental proof of vacancy injection during the oxidation of nickel},
  pdfcreator={Simon Pérusin},
  pdfauthor={Simon Pérusin},
  pdfsubject={Publi},
  pdfkeywords={Vacancy injection, nickel, AFM}}

\journal{Acta Materiala}

You should just put everything into the parathesis, e.g., \cite{gM68,sF90,eM57}. The \usepackage{cite} will take care of the sequence.

Hope this helps.
