My computer is still being shut down by something other than...

My computer is still being shut down by something other than the MS Blaster, the lovesan, and Welchia.. I have followed all steps until I see them in my sleep.. Can anyone help??
The words Generic Host Process have become the three most dreaded words I can see..I never dreamed I'd know so much about the RPC system on this computer and I will not have an XP again..
